Ardyth
Robinson and Jennifer Wyatt have been entertaining
audiences since 1996 with their distinctive mix of
harp music and original songwriting. Their
performances are engaging and unique journeys,
which draw in their audiences and leave them
breathless.
Ardyth
& Jennifer have performed at many premier
concert venues around the Maritimes and into the
New England States, including the Savoy in Cape
Breton, the Jubilee Theatre in Summerside, the
Grand in Ellsworth Maine, the Theater at Monmouth
in Maine and The Imperial Theatre in Saint John.
They have played at The Boston Irish Festival,
Celtic Colours, The Stan Rogers Festival, and have
showcased at the past three ECMAs.
These
two artists are a unique combination. They have a
deep love for many different styles of music, from
traditional Celtic folk songs to jazz and
classical, and have been inspired by the harp to
write original pieces, combining these styles.
Together they interweave voices and harps in a
dynamic interaction that is both spirited and
moving. Whether performing alone or with other
instruments such as cello, bass and percussion,
Ardyth & Jennifer’s music creates a sound
that is completely new with the integrity of a
solid background in folk culture. Wherever they
play, audiences are drawn into an intimate musical
journey that promises to awaken the listener to a
new sound from an ancient instrument.
